- Made from the finest durum wheat semolina, sourced from Tuscan and Italian grains milled in the province of Florence, our pasta is crafted using bronze-die extrusion.
- Peasant origins and a long popular tradition, the history of Pici begins in Tuscany at the time of the Etruscans. Their name recalls the movement made with the palm of the hand to give the dough the right shape: appicciare. Made with just two ingredientsdurum wheat semolina and waterpici lend themselves to countless combinations.
- In the past, they were enjoyed simply with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a bit of chopped onion, but we also recommend trying them with cheese and pepper, a meat ragu, a creamy mushroom sauce, or the typical Tuscan aglione with fresh tomatoes and a pinch of chili pepper.
