Prevents boil-over! Food-grade, silicon-based liquid anti-foam emulsion for prevention of foaming during fermentation or distillation. Kerry FermCap S is an Anti-Foamer that works on the hot side and on the cold side. Prevents boil overs on the hot side, add 2 drops per gallon for a nice rolling boil. On the cold side, FermCap keeps the krausen in your fermenter down to 1/2". Fermcap S anti-foam agent. Very tiny 15g bottle

Eliminate the head on fermenting beer and brew a larger quantity in your existing fermenter. Foam control - also known as FermCapS - does not affect the head on your finished beer, but can actually increase the head by retaining head-forming compounds that would have been blown off during ferment. It will settle-out of beer before bottling or kegging as it is actually absorbed onto the surface of the yeast cells and filter media. Add two drops per gallon at start of fermentation.
